| Eastbound Train No 2 comes into Merrillan in October 1988 behind a
freshly repainted #312.
The cars on the left were interchange traffic off the Chicago & North Western. The yellow boxcar body at the far left of the photo was used a supply shed for track crews. A similar boxcar was located at Manawa.
