The passenger / freight station at Manawa.

The 24'x64' station at Manawa was built in 1898.  It was retired from
use in June 1951.  Although it was still standing as late as 1989, I
visited the area in September 2000 and it had been removed by then.
Beyond the station is a small stock yard which served the area.  Here is
a 1912 view from the stock yards.  Besides the two mainline tracks
in the foreground, there were two "house tracks" behind the
depot.  You can see a boxcar with an open door on one of the house tracks
immediately to the right of the depot in the photo.
This view is from an undated postcard.  I wonder who is standing in the
doorway of the station?
