Kewaunee, Green Bay & Western #350 was built in March 1929 by Alco. It was a twin of GBW #351 (later Ahnapee & Western #351). These two locomotives were almost the last domestic production of 2-8-0 locomotives; only Great Western Railway #60 came later. This locomotives is the only preserved Green Bay Route steam locomotive -- on display at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum in North Freedom, Wisconsin (images). |
